Welcome to Active Minds – a registered charity (CIO) dedicated to empowering young people through mentoring, life skills, and emotional wellbeing support.

By using our website or taking part in our programs, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please take a few minutes to read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

Active Minds is a youth-focused charity providing mentoring, life guidance, and personal development programs. Our mission is to help young people build confidence, resilience, and brighter futures.

2. Who Can Use Our Services

You can use our services if:

  • You’re 18 or older, or

  • You’re under 18 and have parental or guardian consent

We may ask for written consent for young participants under 18.

3. What We Offer

We support young people through:

  • One-on-one and group mentoring

  • Life skills workshops

  • Mental health awareness and emotional support

  • Youth engagement events and programs

  • Resource referrals and community support

Please note: Active Minds is not a clinical mental health service. If needed, we will guide participants toward appropriate professional support.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using our website or services, we ask that you:

  • Treat mentors, staff, and peers with respect

  • Avoid any abusive, harmful, or discriminatory behavior

  • Keep others’ personal information confidential

  • Follow our safeguarding and conduct policies

We may suspend access if these rules are broken.

5. Privacy & Safeguarding

We are committed to keeping your information safe. Any personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.

All staff and volunteers are background-checked and trained in youth safeguarding.

Safety is our top priority.

6. Confidentiality

Everything shared in a mentoring or support setting is kept confidential, unless we believe there’s a risk of harm to you or someone else. In such cases, we may need to inform relevant authorities in line with our safeguarding policies.

Our site may include links to other websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and downloadable resources, belongs to Active Minds (unless stated otherwise). Please don’t copy, modify, or share our materials without permission.

We offer our services in good faith to support young people. However, we:

  • Don’t guarantee specific results or outcomes

  • Aren’t responsible for indirect or unexpected consequences of using our services
